We made this film during the peak of Covid and wanted to speak about the immense loneliness and distance between two humans and how they overcame it through a shared humanity.

“Elham Ehsas is a BAFTA-nominated and Oscar-shortlisted writer working across Film, TV & Theatre. He is drawn to stories about the quiet moments that split your life in two, the kind that start small and end up changing everything.

His short film Yellow was BAFTA-nominated and Oscar-shortlisted in 2024, while his debut Our Kind of Love is being developed into a feature with the BFI. His new short film There Will Come Soft Rains won 2Best Film at Raindance Film Festival as well as Encounters Film Festival.

He also served as Second Unit Director on The Crown (Netflix). As an actor, Elham has appeared in The Agency (Paramount+), Shantaram (AppleTV+), Unforgotten (ITV), and Homeland (Showtime), as well as the stage production The Jungle in the West End and New York.

He is currently developing a slate of original projects for stage and screen.”
