Alessandra Carlino
While coming to terms with my own grief and loneliness during the COVID lockdown, I became acutely aware of the quiet struggles many of us were facing behind closed doors – overwhelming feelings of grief, isolation, and longing for connection. Spam Risk was born from this awareness. It is an exploration of grief, vulnerability, and the unexpected relationships that can pull us back into the light.
Award-winning neurodivergent writer and filmmaker Alessandra (Alessa) Carlino began her career producing underground concerts at just 15 years old. Continuing her love of music, she went on to work on music videos for icons such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Morris Day, and Isaac Hayes, as well as commercial campaigns for Cherry Coke and Burger King.
