Why we chose this film.

This film thoughtfully explores the loneliness that can follow traumatic experiences, from body-shaming and sexual assault to the loss of a parent. Through its cartoon-inspired animation, it invites emotional reflection without losing a sense of emotional safety. At its core, the story highlights the power of connection, however imperfect, as two siblings find their way back to each other.
