Why we chose this film.

This film shines a light on the loneliness that can come with having a rare physical disability. We hope it sparks conversations about the power of storytelling and creative expression to help people navigate loneliness and be more connected.

Inspiration

I met Michael Carnick at a screening of one of his films “Rolling Romance” and was fascinated by the film. After getting to know him better, I realized how important and valuable it would be to get Mike’s perspective on filmmaking and how he addresses loneliness and social isolation through the characters he creates.
